Mighty Mondays - Love 4 Puerto Rico & The Caribbean

Whatsgood, Glo Getters.

Hurricane season 2017 has been a rough one for many. The hurricanes have destroyed many things precious to us and have taken precious lives as well. Texas, Florida, and other southern states have been affected painfully. Thankfully these states have access to certain resources and support of many in order to recover successfully. I have contributed in what ways that I can to the cause of restoring these states back to normal - But still there are some afflicted by the hurricanes that have been dealt a worse hand, who still need assistance and support.

I am speaking specifically about the Caribbean islands (Jamaica, Virgin Islands, Barbuda and more) and Puerto Rico. So you may think how does this tie into #MightyMondays? Well let me remind you what being Mighty is all about. It's an adjective to describe our culture, our mindset when we tackle any obstacle or issues that may surface, our behavior when working to better ourselves (to Glo Up) - being Mighty means you have powers, however deep within you, that may be brought out given any circumstance. In this situation, we must be Mighty, we must be heroes and help in whatever way we can to lift up our fellow humans.

I have friends and family in the Caribbean and Puerto Rico who need help. I have offered my helping hand because that is certainly within my power. I charge you, Glo Getters, to do so as well. In whatever way you can contribute, I charge you to do so. $5 is mighty, a T-shirt is mighty, a coffee table is mighty, a pair of shoes is mighty and can serve to help someone recover from such devastating affliction. Even if you can send water and canned food, every little bit can be appreciated.

Not only do I charge you to assist in restoring the Caribbean, PR, Florida, and Texas, but I charge you to make it a lifestyle of being charitable to those less fortunate due to circumstances we may not understand or be effected by. For instance, Flint still needs clean water; there are still homeless children, women and men throughout the states within our own backyards that need our help in many ways. Worldwide, consistent philanthropic work is necessary. I just ask that even if you can't afford to help right away, please make a pledge to help in some form or matter many times throughout your life. This is apart of the Glo Up Lifestyle - amongst the fitness, the wealth, and fun times.

Everybody is human. It doesn't matter if they belong to your country, "society" or not - last time I checked we were of the same humanity and it is our duty to support each other through thick and thin.
